SINTER 2026 will showcase a groundbreaking lineup of workshops, presentations, and activities designed to engage, inspire, and energize the international metal clay community. Our goal is to feature the very best in innovation, creativity, and relevance for artisans of all levels.

Have you developed an innovative style or technique? Are you using forward-thinking strategies to market and sell your work? Do you value experimentation in materials, tools, and skills? If so, we want to hear from you!

SINTER 2026 is structured into three segments:

  • Pre-event workshops: May 13–14, 2026
  • Presentation event: May 15–17, 2026 
  • Post-event workshops: May 18–19, 2026

WORKSHOPS

SINTER 2026 will be the premier teaching opportunity of the year! Workshop instructors will be positioned as expert-level educators in the international metal clay community.

Instructors are invited to propose original, innovative concepts for 2-day workshops, scheduled either before or after the main SINTER event. Workshops can be tailored to any skill level, from beginner to advanced.

  • Pre-SINTER workshops: May 13–14, 2026
  • Post-SINTER workshops: May 18–19, 2026

Instructors will receive competitive compensation, along with support to ensure your teaching experience is seamless.

PRESENTATIONS

From May 15–17, 2026, SINTER will offer a variety of 1-hour presentations on topics of interest to metal clay artists. Subjects may include:

  • Innovations in techniques, tools, or supplies
  • Design and creative processes
  • Marketing and business strategies

We welcome proposals from instructors and other community members who can share unique and exciting insights. Never presented before? Don’t worry—we encourage fresh perspectives and first-time applicants to share their ideas!

SELECTION CRITERIA

Selections will be based on originality, relevance, and the ability to engage and inspire participants of varying skill levels.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Your application should include:

  • A detailed proposal outlining your workshop or presentation idea
  • Photos of your sample projects (if applicable)
  • A short bio highlighting your expertise

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications close at midnight (PT) February 28, 2025.

You must be a member of AMCAW to apply, and selected instructors and presenters must  maintain membership through the event.
